In the 19th century the location of the restaurant (30-36 Kinizsi utca) was used as a garrison. The building first became a tobacco factory and its cellar was a storage room for years. Refurbishment started 30 years ago, establishing today’s restaurant with its current capacity of up to 360 customers.
In addition to a vast selection of dishes on our standard menu, we offer new specialities every week with organic beer brewed on the premises according to a Bavarian recipe and excellent wines. A band of three musicians makes sure customers have a really great time every evening from 6:00 pm. Comfort is further increased by air-conditioning and a guarded bus parking place.
Menu cards are available in English, German and Russian as required. Our banquet rooms are ideal venues for exclusive family and business events. In addition, our party service undertakes the full organisation of various events off-premises up to 2,000 persons.
